Application for a Slovenian Schengen visa at the outsourcing partner VFS Global

The Embassy of Slovenia in Ankara is pleased to announce that as of April 5th 2016 the Turkish citizens and citizens of third countries, residing in Turkey with resident permits, can apply for Slovenian Schengen visa at the additional 6 locations across Turkey. As of April 5th the outsourcing partner is visa application centre VFS Global (herein after VAC) which is authorized to take the applications on behalf of the Slovenian embassy in Turkey.

The new locations for applying for a Schengen visa at VAC are: Ankara (Kavaklıdere Mah. Atatürk Bulvarı No 154 Çankaya/Ankara), 2 offices in Istanbul (European: Cumhuriyet Caddesi 193, 34380 Harbiye,Sisli – Istanbul   and Asian side: Ord. Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Kerim Gökay Cad. No: 31 Euro İş Merkezi B Blok 34662 Altunizade/ISTANBUL), Izmir (Akdeniz Mah. Akdeniz Cad. Reyent İş Hanı No:1/C Pasaport/İZMİR, Gaziantep (İncili Pınar mah. 7 Nolu Sok. Kaplama İş merkezi Altı Şehitkamil – Gaziantep) and Antalya (Yeşilbahçe District Street No 1480 Ülker Apt no 42 / B Antalya).

The VAC is authorized to take the applications as well as biometrical data of the applicants. The process time of the applications at the Embassy remains the same and in accordance with the Article 23 of the Visa Code. Delivery days to and from VAC are not included. However the Embassy of Slovenia in Ankara will process visa applications submitted through VACs with priority.

Applicants, who apply for a Schengen visa for the first time, will be invited for a personal interview to the Embassy in Ankara. The Embassy has the right to invite the applicants for the interview for any clarifications in case of doubt. 

Service fee at VAC is 25 EUR, while the Schengen visa fee remains at 60 EUR.

Applicants can still apply at the Embassy, without a prior appointment during working hours (Monday to Friday between 10.00 and 12.00 o'clock), however applying at the embassy is restricted only to applicants who apply in person – no intermediaries or applying by a third person is allowed.
